Faulty component: rear axle shaft

Description: The flanges of the rear axle shaft do not have sufficient strength, and therefore, the base sections may crack, if the vehicle is repeatedly driven on a mountainous winding road etc. at high speed. If this problem is left unattended, the crack can grow, and in the worst case, the flange could break and the wheel could come off, which would cause the vehicle to stall.

How to fix the problem:
The rear axle shaft should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit.
