For the gas stays for the back door, the vehicle body end mounting parts made of resin may not have an appropriate structure, and therefore, the clips that secure the gas stay and the vehicle body end stud ball may loosen. If this occurs, the gas stay and the stud ball may separate after repeated opening/closing of the back door, and in the worst case, the gas stay might separate from the vehicle body and cause the back door to fall.

Correction: 
The gas stays should be checked, and the ones whose structure is not appropriate should be replaced with quality assured items. Incidentally, if it is impossible to obtain quality assured items as a result of shortage, as a temporary measure, the securing parts should be reinforced with banding bands and the stays in question should be replaced at a later date.
