Regarding the mechanism for decoupling the brake pedal in the event of frontal collision to alleviate impact on a driver's ankle, it may activate in a frontal collision that does not cause the vehicle to stall. If this occurs and the vehicle continues to be driven after that collision, in the worst case, braking might become impossible.
