On certain vehicles, the O-ring attached to the fuel injector does not have sufficient heat resistance, and its sealing efficiency may decrease over time, which can allow fuel to mix into engine oil causing the oil amount in the oil pan to increase. If this problem is left unattended, the engine oil with fuel mixed in may enter into the inlet pipe through the blow by hose, resulting in rpm increase.
