On certain vehicle, some of the electric wires are damaged when installed alongside the front frame inside the engine compartment due to the improper fitting of the wiring protection sheet that is made of resin. If the damages are left unattended, they can cause short circuits and blown fuses, which cause the lights such as headlights and indicator lights to go out or engine start failure.

Correction:
Rubber sheet should be fitted to protect the wires. Also, the wires and coatings should be inspected for damage, and the damaged coatings should be repaired and the disconnected wires should be replaced with new ones.
