The hose for the vacuum pump attached to the alternator does not have a proper shape, and it may be deformed if the tension of the fan belt is adjusted by moving the alternator. If the vehicle continues to be driven with the hose deformed, in the worst case, the hose could crack, which could cause the exhaust gas recirculation system to fail, or result in reduced braking efficiency if the vehicle has a vacuum hydraulic brake system.
