For the engine with electronic fuel injection system, the insulation for the connector of the crank speed sensor is inadequate, and therefore the sensor may fail to function properly if water etc. enters into the connector, and in the worst case, the engine could stall and will not restart.

The inside of the connector should be filled with grease. If the connector is rusty inside, it should be replaced with a non-defective one.
