On certain vehicles, the ABS control unit is defective in manufacturing, and the ABS may be activated when not necessary, which in the worst case could result in reduced brake efficiency.

Correction: 
The ABS control unit should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. For R34 (SKYLINE) rear wheel drive vehicles, unit number 47850 AA000 should be replaced with 47850 AA080. For U30 (PRESAGE) front wheel drive vehicles, unit number 47850 AD010 should be replaced with 47850 AD080. For U30 (PRESAGE) 4 wheel drive vehicles, unit number 47850 AD300 should be replaced with 47850 AD380.
