On certain vehicles, there is marking ink left between the sealing washer and the fuel pipe due to the improper manufacturing procedure. The ink can be melted by fuel leaving some gap between the washer and the pipe, and in the worst case, fuel could leak from the pipe.

Correction:
The ink mark should be inspected, and if the marking is found to have been done improperly, the fuel pipe where the washer surface touches should be cleaned and a new sealing washer should be installed.
