On certain vehicles with automatic transmission, the pins to secure the key cylinder cap are not properly seated. If left unfixed, the pins can fall out, causing the key cylinder cap to separate from the key cylinder. If this occurs, the engine can be started even with the steering wheel lock engaged, and in the worst case, the driver could drive while not being able to turn the steering wheel.

Correction: 
The key cylinder and the pins should be inspected, and if the pins are out of place or missing, they key cylinder should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit, and otherwise, the ring clip to prevent the pins from coming out should be installed.
