For the exhaust gas recirculation system, the position where the exhaust gas is returned to the intake side is not appropriate, and therefore, a temperature difference may occur inside the intake valve assembly. If this occurs, the butterfly valve may not open/close smoothly because of interfering with the valve case, which would make the engine revs unstable, and in the worst case, the engine could stall and would not restart as the valve would stay closed.
