For the air brake compressor, the compression pressure control valve may be defective in manufacturing, and it may be stuck at the position of stopping compression, in which case compressed air will not be filled up and the warning light will illuminate. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, braking efficiency would be reduced.

The serial/lot number on the air compressor should be checked, and if it is between 1X22 and 2X22 (The first digit represents the month, the 'X' represents the year 2001, and the third and forth digits represent the day.), the head of the compressor should be replaced with a non-defective one.
