On certain vehicles with manual transmission, there is grease left on the hole for the gear shift arm bolt because of the improper grease removal operation at the time of securing the shift lever, and the effectiveness of the locking fluid is lost. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the bolt could become loose and fall out, making the shift operation impossible.
