For the electronic fuel injection type engine without turbocharger, the fuel hose may lose some of its flexibility due to improper material. If this problem is left unattended, engine vibration etc. can cause fuel to leak from the joint between the fuel hose and the fuel injection unit, which could in the worst case, lead to a fire.
