On certain vehicles, the fuel pipe is not properly connected to the fuel pump check valve due to distortion at the installation, because of the excessive friction drag on the pipe connection part to the delivery pipe. If left unfixed, the sealing between the fuel pipe and the check valve may decrease due to vibration of the fuel pump etc., which could lead to fuel leakage.

Correction:
The serial/lot number on the engine should be checked, and if it is between 0019117 and 0280628, the fuel pipe should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit with reduced friction drag on its connection part to the delivery pipe, and the check valve should be retightened.
