For vehicles with V8 engine, the material of the relay terminals inside the relay box kit, which are for the low pressure fuel pump drive, are improper. Because of this, the relay terminals may become plastically deformed and hinder electric continuity due to the rise of the temperature inside the engine compartment and the heat from the pump operation itself. At worst, the pump fails to operate, and the engine stalls.

The relay box kit should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit, which contains the factory approved replacement relay terminals of higher heat resistance material.
