The exhaust pipe does not have an appropriate shape, and therefore, continual driving may cause stress on the exhaust pipe and the muffler to increase, for example, at a certain range of rpm. If this problem is left unattended, the exhaust pipe and the muffler may be damaged, which might allow exhaust gas to leak.

Correction:
The exhaust pipe and bracket, and the muffler should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units. These replacements are likely to cause the noise to be carried to the inside of the cabin, and therefore, the cab suspension lateral link should also be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit.
