On certain vehicles, the amount of oil in the differential is not sufficient from when shipping, and therefore, the differential can burn out, which in the worst case could cause the wheels to be locked while traveling.

Correction: 
The amount of oil should be checked, and if it is not sufficient, the differential should be replaced with a new one and oil should be supplied to the specified level.
