The high tension cable may interfere with the ventilation hose of the distributor due to improper shape of the distributor end connecter, and ventilation can become insufficient. If left unfixed, rust may occur inside the distributor so erratic engine revs may be caused, and at worst the engine could stop and will not restart.

Correction: 
The (one) high tension cable should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. Also, the inside of the distributor should be inspected, and if there is rust, it should be replaced with a new one.
