The top of the battery may get wet with water such as rainwater because measures to protect the battery from water are not sufficient, and therefore, if the battery is not the factory-installed one due to the replacement, water can get into the inside of the battery depending on the shape of top of the battery. In such a case, the battery liquid level increases, and the overflowed liquid may spatter on the ABS hydraulic unit causing corrosion, and at worst, brake fluid could leak, which results in reduced brake efficiency.
