RJ-1071-0

For the flange that secures the fuel tank onto the vehicle frame and is located at the rear of the tank, driving on a rough road (e.g. a bumpy road or a dirt road) repeatedly can cause excessive stress on the flange edge, which can lead to crack growth, due to insufficient strength of the flange. If this problem is left unattended, the crack may penetrate through, causing fuel to leak.
