The spare tyre carrier bracket should be inspected, and the following measures should be taken depending on the crack depth. (1) If the crack has reached the bend section of the bracket, the plates should be welded on the vehicle frame, and they and a new spare tyre carrier bracket should be secured with the bolts. (2) If the crack has not reached the bend section of the bracket, the crack should be welded for repair, and the additional welding should be done on the bracket as specified, and also, the reinforcement bracket and the reinforcement bent strips should be additionally welded. (3) If there is no crack, the additional welding should be done on the bracket as specified, and the reinforcement bracket and the reinforcement bent strips should be additionally welded.
