On certain vehicles, the air hose to rear brake may interfere with the parking brake air hose due to improper position of the rubber clip securing it. If left unfixed, vibration during travel etc. causes the hoses to rub against each other, resulting in wear, and in the worst case, in puncture of the hose. This can cause reduced brake efficiency or make it impossible to release the parking brake.

Correction:
The position of the rubber clip should be checked, and if it is improper, the rubber clip should be repositioned and both of the brake hoses should be replaced with new ones.
