For the hydraulic booster, which enhances braking power, on certain vehicles, air tightness between the piston and the piston cup in the cylinder is poor due to the improper processing of the piston cup groove. For this reason, air may be sucked through the piston cup and the piston because of the vacuum created by repetitive operations of the brake pedal, and it could mix into the brake fluid. At worst, damping force decreases.

Correction:
The hydraulic booster cylinder assembly should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit, and the brake pipe should be replaced with a new one. It will take time to supply all the factory approved replacement parts, therefore, as a temporary measure, the gap between the brake pedal and the floor when the pedal is pressed should be measured, and if it is under the specified value, the replacement should be done, and otherwise, the replacement should be done at later date.
