RJ-1350-0

On certain vehicles, the lubricant on the brake lights switch, which is of the wrong type and was applied at factory, may oxidize due to the heat generated at the time of switching on and off, and this can cause the resistance of the contact point to increase. If the voltage on such contact point is low, electrical continuity may be lost at the switch, in which case the brake lights could fail.
