For the adjuster that adjusts the position of the detent pin, which limits the movement of the shift lever for the automatic transmission, the threaded part may deform due to improper material, which could cause the lock nut securing the adjuster to loosen. If this problem is left unattended, the position of the detent pin may shift, and in the worst case, it could become impossible to shift the lever from R to P position, and the ignition key could be stuck, in which case the lock function would not be enabled.

Correction: 
The lock nut of the adjuster should be checked for looseness. If it is loose, the adjuster should be adjusted, the lock nut should be tightened to the specified torque, and the spring for preventing the nut from rotating should be installed. If it is not loose, the spring for preventing the nut from rotating should be installed.
