For the engine choke, there is not sufficient space between the edge of the butterfly valve and the valve case, and therefore carbon in recirculated exhaust gas may accumulate on the edges of the valve, which could cause the valve to be stuck. If this occurs, the engine could stall and would not restart. This recall is to override the past recall (case number KJ-0188-0, submitted on 18th September 2001) in order to submit the revised measure and cover more models.

Correction: 
The stopper bolt and nut should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units in order to widen the space between the butterfly valve and the valve case.
