On certain vehicles, the rubber seal on the joint between the brake reservoir tank and the brake master cylinder curled during filling brake fluid, which was part of the manufacturing process and done improperly, and such curled seal can allow brake fluid to leak. If this problem is left unattended, the brake warning light may illuminate, and in the worst case, air could get in, which could result in reduced braking efficiency.
