For vehicles with independent front wheel suspension, the socket of the ball joints, which connects the lower arm and the knuckle, do not have sufficient strength, and therefore they may crack, as they prematurely wear if the rubber boots are damaged. If this problem is left unattended, the cracks may grow, and the lower arms may separate from the knuckles, causing the vehicle to stall.

Correction: 
The lower arm ball joints should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units. Incidentally, it will take time to supply all the factory approved replacement units, and therefore, as a temporary measure, the rubber boots should be inspected, and if they are damaged, the replacement should be carried out, otherwise it should be done at a later date.
