For ambulances, the rubber diaphragm inside the brake booster does not have sufficient heat resistance, and therefore, it may deteriorate from heat and subsequently crack. If this problem is left unattended, the cracks may advance, which could adversely affect the performance of the brake booster, making braking distance longer.
