The fuel tank exceeds the design specification, and therefore, the gap between the topside of the fuel tank and the vehicle body may be over the specified measurement range, in which case the tank may severely deform due to the pressure changes inside the tank. If this problem is left unattended, the topside of the fuel tank may crack, and in the worst case, fuel could leak when the tank is full.

Correction: 
The fuel tank should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit, and the gap between the topside of the fuel tank and the vehicle floor should be adjusted to satisfy the specified measurement.
