(1) On certain vehicles with manual transmission, the resin bush between the gear shift control joint and the arm does not have an appropriate shape, and therefore, the torque of the two securing nuts may not be sufficient. If this problem is left unattended, the nuts may come off, and in the worst case, the shaft could separate from the shift lever, which would make it impossible to change the gear ratio. (2) On certain vehicles with manual transmission, the two securing nuts for the gear shift control joint may not be tightened, and therefore, the nuts may come off, and in the worst case, the shaft could separate from the shift lever, which would make it impossible to change the gear ratio.
