For the vacuum brake booster, the use in a high temperature environment for a long period of time was not envisioned, so the rubber membranes inside may deteriorate because of heat, if the vacuum brake booster is continuously used in such a condition. If this problem is left unattended, the rubber membranes may crack, which could adversely affect the performance of the brake booster and result in longer braking distance.

Correction:
The vacuum brake booster should be replaced with a new one, and the inspection and maintenance list in the maintenance manual ('maintenance notes') should be updated with the parts to replace and the recommended replacement schedule of the vacuum brake booster. Also, The information sticker regarding the regular replacement of the parts should be placed on the body panel near the vacuum brake booster in the engine compartment.
