On certain vehicles, there is not sufficient space between the plunger and the barrel of the fuel injector, due to improper measurement, and the O-ring is deformed and/or damaged, losing sealing efficiency, in which case fuel can mix into engine oil. If this problem is left unattended, the oil amount in the oil pan may increase, and consequently, fuel mixed engine oil may enter into the inlet pipe through the blow by hose, in which case the engine revolutions could increase. Note: This problem was reported as RJ-1554-0 on 4th November 2007, but the countermeasures of that recall were not adequate, so revised countermeasures are submitted with this recall.
