For the ECU (Engine Control Unit), there is a glitch in the idle rpm control program, and therefore, when the vehicle is continuously driven at a high speed while the air conditioner is in operation under a high ambient temperature, easing the accelerator may not bring the engine rpms to a desired level. If this occurs, the negative pressure for the vacuum brake booster may not be sufficiently generated, and in the worst case, repeated braking could result in reduced braking efficiency.
