For vehicles with electronically controlled suspension systems, the lines of the front coil springs may interfere with each other, because the shape of the springs is not appropriate. There is a risk that the coating films on those sections may exfoliate and that corrosion may occur. If this problem is left unattended, corrosion may progress due to a snow-melting agent etc., and the spring could break, in which case, at worst, a tyre could burst and the vehicle would stall.
