RJ-2228-0

For the brake switch, a small amount of lubricant, which was transferred from gloves worn by a factory worker, may seep into the contact points of the switch, and therefore, there is a risk that some insulating material may be formed on the contact points, and the electrical resistance of the contact points may increase, causing a contact point failure. If this occurs, the brake lights could fail. Also, except certain types of the vehicles, if the brake lights fail, shifting the shift lever out of the parking position would become impossible.
