For vehicles with 6-speed sequential transmissions, the shift shaft inside the transmission may crack and eventually break after numerous shifting actions, because of an insufficient heating process applied on the shaft surfaces. If this breakage occurs, the transmission warning light will probably illuminate, and the gear change process would become impossible, and also, the engine could stall when the vehicle stops.
