The charcoal canister check valve does not have sufficient durability, and therefore, it may crack after a long time use. If this occurs, in the worst case, fuel vapours may spread into the vehicle cabin, and they may catch fire from a lighter etc., resulting in a fire.

Correction:
The charcoal canister check valve should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. Incidentally, it is going to take some time to supply all the replacement units, so as a temporary measure, the check valve should be reinforeced before being replaced at a later date. Also, it should be notified to have the check valve inspected at a regular maintenance inspection.
