(1) For the front suspension systems, the bolts securing the lower arms and the lower arm ball joints may not have sufficient torque. If this problem is left unattended, the bolts may loosen, and in the worst case, they may break and cause the vehicle to stall. (2) For vehicles whose bolts securing the lower arms and the lower arm ball joints have been tightened as following the RJ-1821-0 recall instructions, those bolts may not have sufficient torque due to an improper tightening method. If this problem is left unattended, they may loosen, and in the worst case, they may break and cause the vehicle to stall.

Correction: 
The torque of the bolts securing the lower arms and the lower arm ball joints should be checked. If there is a gap between the bolt and the lower arm, or the bolt is missing or broken, that lower arm assembly should be replaced with a new one. If there is no gap between the bolt and the lower arm, the bolts should be tightened to the correct torque.
