For the fuel tank of certain wheelchair accessible vehicles, the check valve inside the pipe of the evaporative emissions control system may have come off, due to the improper airtightness test procedure. If the tank is filled above the recommended limit, the fuel may flow into the canister, and in the worst case, there could be a fuel leak from the canister.
