For the crank angular sensor unit, the resin body is not properly formed, and therefore, the overlapping areas of the wiring connector lock may not be sufficient and the O-ring may not provide sufficient sealing efficiency. Oil could seep into the sensor unit through the O-ring and thermally expand, which could cause the connector lock to deform. In the worst case, the connection at the connector could become loose, causing a loose contact, and the engine could stall and would not restart.

For vehicles with electric power steering, the intermediate shaft, which connects the steering wheel and the gearbox, and the sliding yoke do not have sufficient strength. Therefore, when excessive stress is repeatedly applied to these parts, such as when the steering wheel is turned to the maximum position with strong force during low-speed traveling, or the wheel comes into contact with the curb, the joint may loosen or develop a crack. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the joint could come off or break, which would make steering impossible.

The shape of the contact points inside the headlight switch is inappropriate, and therefore, it may occur that the contact points wear prematurely and that grease reaches them through abrasion powder and works as an insulator for electrical currents. The headlights may occasionally fail as a result of this, and if the problem is left unattended, the contact points may heat up due to increased current resistance and the plastic parts may melt, which could cause the headlights to fail.
