There is a glitch in the computer program of the unit that controls the hydraulic pressure of the automatic transmission, and therefore, when starting the engine with high electric load from medical equipments while the battery is low, the computer unit malfunctions causing the hydraulic pressure to drop. If the vehicle continues to be driven in such a condition, the friction plates inside the automatic transmission can wear, and abrasion powder may adversely affect the performance of the automatic transmission and at worst the vehicle could stall.
