On certain vehicles, the check valve pin in the inflator for the passenger airbag may fail to punch the hole in the proper manner to allow the gas to be discharged to the airbag, because the valve is improperly installed. If this happens, the airbag will not be deployed to the appropriate extent, and the passenger could be seriously injured in a frontal collision.

For the front seat belt tensioner (a device which tightens the seat belt when a collision occurs), on certain vehicles, the processing of the screw threads of the casing is inadequate. For this reason, the casing cap may come out ripping through the inside panel due to the pressure from the belt tensioner being triggered, and in the worst case, the cap could hit a driver or a passenger.
