For the pipe that supplies negative pressure for the vacuum brake booster from the engine, combustion products of the engine may deposit and accumulate inside the pipe. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the pipe diameter may decrease, in which case supplying negative pressure may be delayed when the brake pedal is repeatedly operated in a short time, which means a driver may need to press harder on the brake pedal than normal.
