On certain vehicle, the weldings of the shock absorber brackets for the rear wheels may not be properly done, and therefore, there is a risk that the weldings may come off. If this occurs, the vehicle stability can be adversely affected, and in the worst case, the bracket could interfere with the air spring and become damaged, in which case air could leak and the vehicle body could tilt.

On certain vehicles with ABS, when the wheel speed sensor rings were installed to the front hubs, a defective (scratched) instrument was used, and the outer bearing races of the front hubs may have been damaged at that time. If such damage is left unattended, abnormal noise and rattling may be caused, and the outer bearings may be burned out, and in the worst case, this could result in a fire or a wheel run-off.
