On certain vehicles, the electrical wire located at the centre of the vehicle body is wedged between the vehicle frames due to improper installment. If left unfixed, the wire sheath may be damaged by vibration during traveling, causing a short circuit, and in the worst case, the wire could burn out, which could result in engine stall.

For the leaf air suspension systems, the U-bolts securing the leaf spring and the front axle are fixed with improper installation parts and are not tightened with sufficient torque, and therefore they may crack from distortion stress when the vehicle turns. If this problem is left unattended, the U-bolts may break, and in the worst case, the suspensions may separate from the front axle, which would adversely affect the vehicle's stability.

The oil seal and the O-ring of the chain transfer do not have sufficient heat resistance, and they can be damaged from heat when the temperature of transfer oil rises during sustained high speed driving, allowing the oil to leak into the transfer. If this occurs, the oil temperature may rise further as agitation resistance from the oil against the chain increases, and the oil could gush out from the breather, which could in the worst case result in a fire.

The front hub bearings should be inspected. They should be refilled with the newly specified amount of grease, and the locknuts should be tightened to the specified torque. The damaged bearings should be replaced with new ones.

On certain vehicles, the rear brake hoses may interfere with the sills when the rear suspension bounces, because the hoses are improperly routed. If left unfixed, the hoses may wear and get damaged. This can cause brake fluid leakage, and damping force may decrease.

RJ-0971-0

On certain vehicles, grease was insufficiently applied on the front wheel outer hub bearing at the time of axle assembly. If left unfixed, the bearing may get damaged due to lack of lubricating. At worst, the vehicle becomes stalled, or a fire breaks out.

The cross shaft of the transmission is not fully inserted into the bracket because of its design. Because of this, the cross shaft may come off the bracket, and in the worst case, a shifting operation becomes impossible.
