For the seat belts of the driver's and front passenger's seats, the parts inside the take-up reels may be defective in manufacturing, and therefore, the edge of the gear sensor and the guide holder of the lock mechanism may interfere with each other, which may make it impossible to pull out the seat belt. If this occurs, the seat belt would be unusable, so the driver or the passenger would not be restrained.
