The fuel filter vibrates at certain high engine revolutions, and if this continues for a long time, the fuel pipe bracket gets damaged causing excessive stress on the fuel filter. Furthermore if this condition is neglected, the joint between the fuel pipe and the top part of the fuel filter may crack causing fuel leakage, and in the worst case, leading to a fire.
