There is foreign material remained in the electrical fuel pump due to inadequate removal in manufacturing, and it may cause the wire sheath of the inner motor to be damaged in which case a short circuit can occur blowing a fuse of the fuel pump circuit, or it may cause the motor brush to wear excessively. In either case, there is a risk that the engine stops and will not restart.
